reimagining a 70-year-old institution

I led the organization through a comprehensive visual brand rollout in collaboration with the award-winning Rivers Agency on design. Transforming the aging brand into a modern astronomy and science education brand included: public relations, copywriting and editing, and brand training guide development.

research dissemination

This youth-founded, youth-led organization was growing from their previous brand and needed a complete rebrand. I led a team of high school students through a comprehensive rebrand and managed the project to include: graphic design of the logo, visual identity development, public relations rollout, and brand training.

balancing a new vision

Working in collaboration with Kompleks Creative agency, we activated the skeleton of an old brand to bring forth a new design for Youth Mentoring Collaborative. Included: complete name rebrand, public relations, style guide development, brand training.

About this project: A playbook for decision-makers in youth-serving institutions to disrupt racialized and generational power dynamics within their working relationships with Black and brown young people using practical belonging insights directly generated from Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR). I provided research support and co-authored the community resource, followed by consultation with the PI on dissemination and marketing.
